Advisory for Passengers travelling Internationally

  1. Entry Restrictions and Airline Responsibilities:
  • If any destination or transit country denies your entry for visa problems—overstaying, revocation, or any other known or unknown reason—the airline in charge of marketing, validating, or operating your itinerary may deny boarding. These are beyond the control of SkyHawker or the airline.
  • If the authorities, either implicitly or explicitly, direct the airline to deny boarding, regardless of your valid visa, SkyHawker shall not be responsible for any delays or monetary losses that may result.
  • For assistance, the embassy of the respective destination or transit country should be contacted.
  • Any changes to the itinerary, cancellations of bookings, or refund requests will be subject to the standard fare rules of your ticket(s).
  1. Credit Card Verification Requirements:
  • Some airlines need the passengers to submit a photocopy of the credit card used to purchase the travel with the CVV blacked out if the cardholder is not traveling.
  • Some need a written statement at check-in from the cardholder themselves affirming the purchase and stating the name of the passenger and travel details.
  • Failure to produce these documents may result in denial of boarding.
  1. Health and Safety Protocols:
  • During health crises, such as pandemics, most airlines require passengers to:
  • Please submit a Self-Health Declaration Form.
  • Show a negative test result for the disease in question.
  • Follow the regulations like wearing masks on board and on land.
  • All travellers must follow the travel advisories, entry requirements, health protocols, and quarantine regulations of both the origin and destination countries. Failure to comply with these provisions may result in denied boarding, limited transit, and even entry refusal at destination. Under such circumstances, SkyHawker will not be responsible for refunds. Rules may change without prior notification. Travellers are advised to review the latest rules with the carrier and the destination country's embassy a day before departure.

Regulations and Limitations for Travel-Related Providers (such as Airlines and Others)

Airlines, airports, and other third parties that offer travel-related services or products through SkyHawker may function as our affiliates or partners. Reservations made via the SkyHawker Website or by getting in touch with our travel experts are subject to the terms and conditions set forth by each supplier. These terms, which supplement SkyHawker's policies, cover things like payment, booking confirmations, cancellations, itinerary modifications, refunds, and seat availability, among other things.

Key Terms:

  1. Supplier Rules and Compliance:
    • When booking a flight ticket, you must read the terms and conditions on the supplier's official website. You accept the terms when you complete your reservation with SkyHawker.
    • The fare you chose is confirmed after successful payment and ticketing, unless the supplier changes it. SkyHawker reserves the right to adjust prices or cancel reservations due to delayed payment completion.
  1. One-Way vs. Round-Trip Bookings:
    • SkyHawker allows travelers to book two separate one-way flights rather than one round-trip ticket.
    • Every one-way ticket has its own price and set of regulations. If one of your flights is canceled or rescheduled, you may be charged for modifications to the other.
    • SkyHawker is not liable for any damages resulting from itinerary modifications made with a third-party agency if you decide to book a portion of your trip with them.
  2. Currency Fluctuations & Fees:
    • For low-cost carriers, the booking amount may be converted from a different currency to your local currency for your convenience.
    • Currency fluctuations, taxes, and card issuer fees may result in slight differences between the estimated and final amounts charged.
    • Your card statement may reflect additional charges due to international purchase fees or currency conversions.
  3. Federal Hazardous Materials Regulations:
    • Federal Law prohibits carrying hazardous materials during air travel. Violations, such as bringing explosives, oxidizers, corrosives, or flammable items, may result in imprisonment of up to 5 years and fines exceeding $25,000 under 49 U.S.C. 5124.
  4. Liability Waivers:
    • Some suppliers may require you to sign a liability waiver before providing their services.
    • Failure to comply with any of these supplier terms may result in the cancellation of your reservation, denial of service, and forfeiture of any paid amounts. Additionally, your payment method may be charged for expenses incurred by SkyHawker due to such violations.

By accepting these terms, you acknowledge the shared responsibility between suppliers and SkyHawker. You are encouraged to familiarize yourself with both SkyHawker’s and each supplier’s terms to ensure a smooth and compliant travel experience.

SkyHawker's Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refund for Cancellation

If you cancel your booking by contacting SkyHawker's customer service team at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure time, we will review your request and coordinate with the relevant airline subject to their refund and cancellation policies.

SkyHawker tries to provide the most accurate trip information available at the time of booking on our site. Sometimes errors in the fare or itinerary information displayed may occur. If such discrepancies are discovered after your booking has been confirmed, you may either agree to pay the fare difference or choose to cancel the booking.

Refunds approved by the airline will be credited back to the original method of payment. For cancellations within the 24-hour void window, refunds are generally processed within 24–72 business hours. For cancellations outside of this window, processing may take 4–5 business weeks or longer, depending on your financial institution's policies. In exceptional cases, delays may occur, for which SkyHawker is not responsible.

In the event of accidental double refund, the overpaid sum should be immediately returned to SkyHawker.

Cancellation and Exchange Policies

All confirmed reservations are generally non-refundable. However, in some cases, cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure can be considered, subject to the airline's rules. Moreover, partially used tickets for one-way, round-trip, or multi-city routes are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. Non-refundable tickets can be changed to open tickets for future use on the same airline only, at equal or higher fare, and are valid 6 to 12 months from the original booking date, depending on the airline's policies.

Ticket Modification and Exchanges:

  • Applicable Charges: Airline fees, fare differences, and SkyHawker service fees apply.
  • The request should be made during the validity period of the ticket.
  • Open tickets can't be extended beyond their expiration date.
  • You will be emailed the fees and cancellation/modification terms. SkyHawker will not proceed without your explicit written confirmation (email, fax, or hard copy) accepting these terms.

SkyHawker reserves the right to apply a fee of up to $150 per ticket for cancellations or changes made after the 24-hour void period. Cancellations made within this time frame will be assessed a service fee of up to $50 per ticket, depending on the itinerary and ticket type.

Special Cases

Tickets booked between 24 to 48 hours of the first leg of travel or those bought via Indian financial institutions are not eligible for the 24-hour free cancellation policy. Instead, cancellation fees will be charged by the airline.

If a medical emergency or other unforeseen circumstance prevents you from traveling, the ticket can be:

Cancelled (if refundable) and subject to service costs and airline penalties.
amended with additional fees for future travel dates.
Changed to an open ticket for future utilization (if the airline permits).

Neither SkyHawker nor the airlines take responsibility for the waiver of fees resulting from medical emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

Blackout Dates

Due to high demand and airline restrictions, blackout periods (such as holidays or popular travel seasons) may limit itinerary modifications or cancellations. Customers are made aware of these limitations at the time of booking with SkyHawker. Depending on airline policies, reservations made during blackout periods may be subject to increased fines, restrictions, or even prohibition.
Make travel arrangements in advance to prevent delays during times of high demand.

Schedule Changes and Flight Disruptions

SkyHawker strives to deliver seamless booking experiences, but it is critical to understand the airline's duties and procedures surrounding adjustments or cancellations. SkyHawker cannot control the following policies, which are based on standard airline procedures and constraints.

Airline Responsibility for Changes and Cancellations

Flight Schedule Adjustments:

  • Airlines may change flight timings or dates due to operational considerations, weather conditions, natural disasters, or other reasons such as bankruptcy or labour strikes.
  • SkyHawker is not responsible for any changes or cancellations caused by the airline's actions or policies.

Recommendation for Travelers:

  • Before leaving for the airport, it is strongly advised to check flight schedules directly with the airline.
  • Travelers must be aware of any cancellations, delays, or significant schedule changes and follow the airline's requirements.

SkyHawker Policy on Flight Schedule Changes and Cancellations

  1. No Waiver or Refunds by SkyHawker:
    • SkyHawker is not liable for airline-imposed schedule changes or cancellations, including waivers or refunds.
    • Airlines typically provide refunds or waivers for delays of more than 90 minutes, but such provisions are governed by airline policy and not under SkyHawker’s control.
  2. Notification of Schedule Changes:
    • If notified by the airline of changes on the departure day (within four hours of the scheduled departure), we will alert you via email or text (if your contact information is available). Email serves as the final alert medium should other notifications fail.
    • Certain flight or itinerary types may not qualify for refunds in such cases, and SkyHawker cannot process requests outside the airline’s policies.

In Case of Extreme Weather or Other Operational Changes

  1. Weather-Related Changes:
    • Severe weather may lead to delays or cancellations, particularly at connecting airports or destination cities. Airlines have sole authority over refunds in such scenarios.
    • SkyHawker is not liable for these refunds or changes.
  2. Last-Minute Adjustments:
    • Airlines may alter schedules less than 90 minutes before departure. In such cases, you must directly contact the airline to manage cancellations or refund requests. SkyHawker cannot assist with refunds under these circumstances.
  3. Connecting Flights:
    • Operational issues affecting connecting flights at layover airports fall under airline authority. SkyHawker cannot provide refunds or adjustments for missed connections caused by these delays or cancellations.

Action Steps for Travelers

  1. Always verify flight details with the operating airline before arriving at the departure airport.
  2. Keep track of airline policies regarding schedule changes and cancellations, as they can vary significantly.
  3. Directly contact the airline for updates on the flight service status, cancellation policies, and refund options.

Disciplinary action could be imposed in cases of infractions of participation laws, violations of intellectual property rights, personal security, or public threat. We may also notify third parties if infringements of their intellectual property or privacy rights result from information posted by a user. SkyHawker will also take legal action, including communicating the use of our services without authorization to law enforcement agencies, where applicable.

Access to this website may, however, be suspended or terminated for violation of these Terms of Use or any applicable federal, state, local, or international laws. Foreign Entry and Travel Document Requirements

Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring that all foreign entry requirements are met, including valid passports, visas, health clearances, and vaccination documents. The type of visa (business, tourist, transit, or Schengen) must be appropriate for the purpose and destination of travel. Since Sky Hawker might lack specific expertise on some foreign entrance requirements, it is not required to offer information on these topics unless a paid advice from Visa and Immigration expert is obtained. Before arranging any travel, passengers should carefully consider advisories, warnings, and regulations issued by the governments or competent authorities of their desired locations.

Each traveller must verify with the embassy or consulate of the foreign nation to which he or she is traveling for adequate prior notice of the travel documents required for entry. Sky Hawker accepts no responsibility for any denied boarding or entrance owing to insufficient or invalid documentation, including expired documents. The issues mentioned above include passports with less than six months of validity, missing transit visas, and particular entry permissions required by airlines or layover places. Remember that certain countries require transit visas, even if the layover occurs inside the airport or on the plane.

Health and Safety Protocols for International Travel

Many countries impose certain health standards on overseas tourists. Passengers are responsible for complying with any applicable health rules, which may include immunizations, drugs, and health clearance prescriptions. It is recommended that they speak with medical specialists as well as the embassy or consulate of their destination and layover countries to learn about current health protocols. This makes their trips easier, reduces issues during transit or entry, and may also need cleaning methods like as spraying insecticide into aircraft cabins before or during flights. All of this is intended to result in acceptable public health and safety. Passengers are often urged to be aware of this and plan appropriately.

Risk Acknowledgment and Disclaimer of Liability

Booking flights to international destinations with SkyHawker does not imply that the destinations are safe or appropriate for travel. SkyHawker is not liable for any risks or losses, including health-related losses or potential financial damages, linked with the travel environment in specific places. The traveler assumes all travel risks by being aware of and willing to accept whatever may occur during the travel. Passengers who book with SkyHawker, in turn, release the airline from any obligation for travel hassles or issues that may emerge during their trip.
